Polynomials are any mathematical expressions containing only variables and coefficients that only involves the operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and exponentiation to a nonnegative integer.
A polynomial's degree is the highest degree of monomial (individual term) in the polynomial which has a non-zero coefficient (leading term).
