Conjugating Regular Verbs

Any regular verb can be conjugated by first removing the verb ending (-ar, -er, or -ir) to obtain the stem of the verb and then adding the appropriate conjugations depending on the pronoun.

Obtaining the Stem

Remove the verb ending (-ar, -er, or -ir) from the end of the un-conjugated verb to obtain its stem.

Using Conjugation Tables

Using the conjugation tables for each verb type, we can conjugate a regular verb by:

  1. Determining its stem by removing the verb ending
  2. Adding the appropriate ending from the table based on the pronoun and tense
