Compound Statements

Compound statements are just a statement that is formed by connecting two or more statements together using logical operators.

Order of Operations

In statements with multiple logical operators the order of operations is as follows

  1. - Parentheses
  2. - Negation
  3. - Conjunctions and - Disjunctions
  4. Conditionals and - Biconditionals

If two statements are on the same level for example two sets of parentheses or a conjunction and a disjunction the statement is ambiguous and must be re-written to be answered.
