Momentum

Momentum is a vector and is the product of mass and velocity. Newton's laws of motion describe a set of laws for momentum in an inertial frame of reference. Momentum is usually represented by a and is defined using the following equation

Collisions

In collisions the momentum in the system is always conserved via Newton's first law and all the momentum of one object is transfer to the other object and vice-versa.
